Through my photographs, I explore and highlight the

self-evident properties of everyday life. The act of

taking these images offers me a sense of calm. It

gives me a moment to focus on the beauty amidst the

chaos. I aim for the viewer to get this same feeling of

stillness and presence while viewing or engaging

with the work.

Photographs are remnants of light and time. These

are not only essential to photography but also to life

itself, and the starting point and inspiration for most

of my work.

While the world becomes more and more

overstimulating due to the fast pace of our daily life,

I want my art to be a break from this new normal.

That’s why the final form of my work is always

physical. This can be a book, a print, or an

installation. Something that brings us into the

present.
